"Nabin Bhattarai got married?! Get out!!" a general reaction there, fans couldn't believe their ears. We pinched ourselves pink, we had to confirm, we called our little insider birdie in the Bhattarai camp. After many tries, darn the mobile service, she finally picks up and cements what we just heard, "Yes, he has tied the knot. Shocking right??" Hell yes!! And we pinch ourselves some more, operation spread the news, more phone calls follow.
So it is done, single no more! You can't say Nabin K Bhattarai, newlywed Wednesday to one of his fans, whom he met in Pokhara couple of months ago, didn't get to enjoy a reign as Nepal's most eligible bachelor. But it was about time he settled down.
And after 30 plus years, the crooner finally succumbed to the institution called marriage and it was definitely ‘love’ that drove him to the altar. A match made in heaven, even the names have the same ring to it, Nabin weds Nabina; err also one of the prime reasons for incredulity among the mass, it just seemed too convenient. But truth be told, the secret, spontaneous nuptials did take place. The couple reportedly got married on 23rd June; the venue was Bhattarai's home with a handful of guests that included family members and very close friends.
Still pinching, why weren't we 'The Cheeguz' invited? Nabin if you're reading this, we're so gonna get you for this, humph!! And we tell you, that is a common reaction the Bhattarai boy is going to have to face from his so called 'media friends', pass on them baseball cap and shades, you'll need it for all them friendly glares. Wink. But jokes apart, we wish Nabin & Nabina a lifetime of love and happiness, and many, many, many healthy children. Perhaps they will contemplate this while they enjoy a well deserved honeymoon.
